| The following code is required to send a problem report to
us.
Code:
1002.
PLEASE
look through this FAQ before sending us a problem report.
Chances are, your question is already answered here.
Of course, we still get NUMEROUS questions that are already answered here. When that happens, will simply direct you back to this page. If this happens to you, please don't be upset. Save yourself (and us) an extra step...
Please CHECK THIS FAQ FIRST. |
How
do I add a page to my web's navigation structure?
This is one of the easiest things to do in FrontPage! After you have created and/or saved your page...
 | Switch to navigation view
 | In FP98, you'll have to close the
Editor first |
 | In FP2000, click View on the top
menu and then Folder List |
|
 | Locate the page you created in the file list |
 | Grab it with your mouse |
 | Drag it to the place in the navigation tree
you want it to
appear in |
 | Drop it there |
To change where it appears in the nav structure, just grab it
again and drop it where you want it.
That's it! We told you it was easy!
Can I get telephone
support?
 | Generally speaking, no. We
offer email support only. |
 | To be honest, our most expensive theme is less than
$15.00. It simply is cost prohibitive for us to offer telephone
support. |
 | All of our themes are thoroughly tested with ALL
version of FrontPage. They *DO* work. |
 | Virtually every problem we've been contacted about is
due to either:
 | The user is doing something that should not be
done
 | Like trying to put a 200 pixel wide graphic
in a table cell that is defined as being 140 pixels
wide. Of course, this will stretch the cell out of
shape. |
 | Redefining table cell properties |
 | Not redefining navigation structures so they
point to the correct place in their web; like pointing the nav
structure (buttons) to "Parent" instead of
"Same Level", etc. |
|
 | The user does not know the basics
of how FrontPage works.
 | We HAVE to assume that people are familiar
with the general workings of FrontPage. You have to know
how to do the basic things in FrontPage like how to create a
new page using a template or how to apply a theme to a
page. Just in case, we explain them in this FAQ.
When people ask us how to do basic stuff like that, we refer
them to this FAQ, and they STILL insist they need telephone
support. That's kind of like buying a car and
expecting/insisting that the dealer teach you to learn to
drive it. That's not the dealer's responsibility. |
|
 | In very rare and extreme cases, we will send you
our phone number if you simply can't figure something out.
 | Keep in mind, you will have to call us.
As mentioned above, for the prices we charge for themes, it is
simply cost prohibitive for us to call you. |
 | If the problem is not one of our making (and
there has only been one occasion in two years where it has
been), and you require more than a very brief answer, we will
require a support fee. |
 | If the problem is one of our making, we will
support you for free until the end of time. |
