KEP Internet was started by Kris Earl Phillips and Bob Skaggs.  Kris and Bob's talents complement one another as Kris is the creative end and Bob is the "hardware guy".

Originally, we were a full-service ISP (Internet Service Provider) offering dialup, webhosting, design and the full range of other services normally associated with ISP's.  We quickly found out that being a full service ISP, in particular, offering dialup was little more than a "money pit".  So, we turned out talents to what we do best...web design and hosting.

Kris was in broadcasting for over 20 years as a disc jockey and radio programmer in such places as: New York City, Baltimore, Nashville, Richmond, Boston, Cleveland and a host of others too numerous to mention.  He discovered computing around 1977 when the station he was working for got an Apple II.
He's also quite an accomplished Visual Basic and database programmer.  He's our chief artist and graphics designer (and CEO/President of the company).

When it comes to hardware and networking, there's not much Bob doesn't know.

Yes, he IS related to the country artist Ricky Skaggs (we think it's his cousin but he won't discuss it).  He won't give us a picture either. :(

Bob has owned and operated several business as well as playing in his own band a few years back.

He makes sure the server is "up and running" and makes lots of "helpful" design suggestions.  He's our company vice-president.

Shontell is in charge of marketing.  She LOVES to talk to people (we've nicknamed her "Jaws") so she's perfect for handling customer relations and marketing.

She helps us sell things so whenever she becomes annoying (and she DOES with all that chat), we just remember that she makes sure we get paid and forgive her!
